4 out of 5 stars Nice   September 2, 2010

This is a simple machine that gets the job done. It is rather large but that's because it can hold so much water. A full container will provide me with 6 fills of my coffee press (8-10 cups). The only thing that I didn't like is that the machine gets really hot to the touch. I understand that it is stainless steel but it should be more insulated. It's not hot enough to burn your had, just to shock you a little if you graze it. I can easily put my hand to it and let it sit there so it's not a hazard. All in all, I do recommend this product for the price :)

2 out of 5 stars Leaks - worked for a couple years   August 27, 2010
Kirk Walker (Tacoma WA USA)
I love what this product does, but it does not last more than a couple years. It leaks water from the lid all over the counter. It was not so bad at first but got worse. It especially leaked when the lid was open; the condensed water runs out. We kept the unit in a shallow bowl. It stopped working all together when the electronics went. They have likely shorted out due to water getting inside.
It looks nice and served the purpose but could have lasted longer.

5 out of 5 stars Hot pot is working great!   August 1, 2010

We've had it for about a month now and it is working great. We were so pleased with the speedy delivery. When our last "hot pot" stopped working we were lost without it, as we use it all the time for tea, coffee or porridge. We were not able to find anything like it, especially in the stainless steel, in stores where we live. (We had relatives from Toronto purchase the last one.)

4 out of 5 stars Good Product   July 21, 2010

I used it non-stop since the day I bought it and haven't had any problem with it. Compared to other brands, this one does not have as many features, but it's simple to use and cheaper. So if you just want a hot water pot, it's a good choice.

2 out of 5 stars Dual dispension urn   January 22, 2010

This is one of the very few dual dispensing hot urns. I was looking for something that is insulated and I can dispense without electricity. It works great. Takes 37W to keep warm and 700W to boil. I has the unit for 30 days non-stop use. The stainless steal lid started to rust on the inside around the screws. We replaced it for with the new one. However the replacement had the manual pump broken out of the box. Now we are waiting for the replacement of the replacement. I would still stick with this model, because it really worked well the first 30 days...
